Fairy Silhouette

I made this card for the Less is More 'Silhouette' challenge using the colours from the current CAS Colours and Sketches challenge.  I'm also entering the Butterfly Challenge which is 'I for Inks' and as the paper and card are from my snippets drawer I'm paying my first visit to the playground at Pixie's Crafty Workshop.

Card blank:  6" x 6" cream silk
Stamps: The Fairy Collection (magazine freebie)
Ink: Versafine Vintage Sepia
Other: Wink of Stella
Snippets: Rose Moondust card and cream butterfly paper

I stamped the fairy and sentiment onto a snippet of cream butterfly paper, layered it onto rose card and attached it to the card front.  I then added a Wink of Stella to highlight the image and sentiment.

I have that freebie stamp too and it is very good quality and stamps perfectly. Love the colour combination here and how you have stamped out onto the patterned paper. Very effective. Thankyou for fluttering by my inky challenge. Hugs Mrs A.

Such a lovely & delicate fairy silhouette. I'm always amazed at the freebies in your UK magazines. How beautifully you've combined this with the mats & DP to make such a pretty card. And so happy you have had your 1st visit to Pixie's Playground. Wonderful folks go there - and I've been absent for a while. Gonna try to do better in 2016. See ya by the Hot Toddy Shed! Sarn's pouring!!! TFS & Hugs
