Christmas Stocking

It's time for a new challenge at Winter Wonderland and we want to you to 'Add Some Sparkle or Bling'. We are sponsored by Crafty Sentiments Designs who are offering three digi images of the winner's choice.

This is a scheduled post as we're having our first weekend away in our new campervan (see my other blog Where's Cali?).  Hopefully I can get wifi on site so will enter Sparkles Christmas Challenge 'Candy Cane', Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge 'Anything Goes' and Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra.

Card blank: 6" x 6" white silk
Stamp: Crafty Sentiments Designs 'Christmas Stockings' digi
Dies: Spellbinders Nestabilities 'Classic Ovals Large' and 'Lacey Ovals'
Embossing: Kars tan embossing mat
Colouring: Promarkers, Gold Gel Pen
Card: Gold mirri, white silk
Paper: Wild Rose Studio 'Bella'
Other: Star Dust Stickles, Wink of Stella, Woodware 'Joy' gold peel-off, star peel-offs

I trimmed the lilac paper, layered it onto gold mirri and attached it to the card front.  I resized the digi stamp, printed it onto white card and coloured it with Promarkers, adding gold gel pen to the tassle. The image was die cut and embossed, layered onto a gold die cut and embossed lacey oval, before being attached to the left side of the card.  I added Star Dust Stickles to the stocking cuff and highlighted the stocking and presents with a Wink of Stella.  To finish I added gold stars to the top corner and a sentiment and stars to the lower corner.
