Snippets: Tattered Lace snowflake paper (magazine freebie), brown and red pearlescent card, Marianne Design 'Snow Paper'

I trimmed the snowflake paper, layered it onto brown card and attached it to the card front.  I die cut the reindeer and antlers from brown card, the bow, swirl and three snowflakes from red mirri card and four snowflakes from the glitter paper.  These were all attached to the card front with tacky glue.

Fairy Godmother

It's time for a new challenge at Winter Wonderland and we want to see 'Christmas or Winter Characters (people only)'.  We are sponsored by Twinkle Lane Designs who are offering the lucky winner as super prize.

I'm entering the Fab 'n' Funky 'Christmas' challenge, the Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge 'Anything Christmas Goes' and Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge 'Anything Goes'.

Card blank: 7" x 5" white silk
Stamp: Twinkle Lane Designs 'Fairy Godmother' digi
Colouring: Bruynzeel Sakura coloured pencils
Paper: Driving Home for Christmas 'Stars' (magazine freebie)
Other: Wink of Stella

I cropped the fairy and sentiment images from the Fairy Godmother set and used Word to merge them into one image.  This was then printed onto white silk card and trimmed.  I used coloured pencils for the fairy and lots of Wink of Stella on her wings.  The panel was layered onto star paper and attached to the card.

Prim Poppy

I made this card for the Allsorts 'Poppies or the Colour Red' challenge.  I'm also entering the Seize the Birthday 'CAS' challenge, The Flower Challenge 'A Special Occasion' and Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes with Dies.  The card was from my snippets drawer so I'm also making an early visit to the playground at Pixie's Crafty Workshop.

Card blank: 6" x 6" white matt
Dies: Memory Box 'Prim Poppy' and Creative Expressions 'Mini Happy Birthday'
Embossing: Xcut 'Small Polka Hearts' embossing folder
Snippets: Green, Red and white card

I die cut the poppy from both red and green card and the sentiment from red card and set these aside.  I trimmed a square of white card to 3/4" smaller than the card blank before die cutting the sentiment and poppy.  I attached tape across the back of the die cuts on the white square and inlaid the white poppy and sentiment.  I gently removed the sections that would be inlaid in red and green, leaving the white inlaid pieces attached to the tape.  The panel was then embossed with the polka hearts embossing folder.  I layered this panel onto red card before attaching it to the card blank.  I snipped the green poppy to remove the flowers and inlaid it before snipping the red flowers from the other poppy and inlaying them.  To finish I inlaid the sentiment.
