You Have My Heart Snowman

I am hosting the new Winter Wonderland challenge and I have chosen 'Snowmen'.  We are sponsored by Stamping Studio who are offering one image from each artist.  Join them at their Stamping Studio Facebook Group for freebies and specials.

I am entering the ABC Christmas Challenge 'L for Love or M for More than One' (my card is L for Love and M for More than One Heart), the Alphabet Challenge 'H for Hearts', the Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge 'Always Anything Christmas Goes' and Classic Design Team Open Challenge 'Anything Goes'.

Card: Red matt, white silk
Paper: Lili of the Valley 'Twas the Night'
Other Diamond Stickles

I trimmed the striped paper, layered it onto red card and attached it to the card front.  I resized the snowman image and printed it onto white card before colouring it with Promarkers to match the backing paper.  The snowman was layered onto red card and attached to the left side of the card.  I printed the sentiment, layered it onto red card and attached it with Pinflair glue.  I punched one regular and two mini hearts and attached them to the lower edge.  To finish I highlighted the snow with Diamond Stickles.

Celebrate in Style

I made this card for the Less is More 'Celebrations and Festivals' challenge.  I'm also entering the Alphabet Challenge 'R for Recipe' (I have used Sentiment, Stamp & Embossing), Classic Design Team Open Challenge 'Anything Goes' and Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge 'Anything Goes',

I stamped and embossed the flower and sentiment onto white card.  This was trimmed, layered onto purple/gold paper and attached to the card front.  I stamped the leaves with Toffee ink onto another piece of the purple/gold paper, fussy cut them just inside the stamped image and attached them to the card.  The flower was decorated with Card Candi, shimmering dots and nailheads.

Elf and Ornament

I trimmed the Merry Christmas paper, layered it onto red and green card before attaching it to the centre of the card blank.  The digi was resized and printed onto white card - the elf and ornament were coloured to match the backing paper.  I then trimmed the image, layered it onto red and green card and attached it to the centre of the paper.  I added white Fun Flock to the elf's hat and a Wink of Stella to the ornament.  I die cut a large snowflake from the Snow Paper and attached it to the left of the image.  I punched a large snowflake from green card and a regular snowflake from red card - these were attached to the centre of the die cut snowflake and a small pearl added to the centre.

Good Luck in your New Home

I made this card for my aunt and uncle who are going to move into their new home soon - hopefully it won't be as wonky as this house!  I'm entering the Cuttlebug Mania 'New Home' challenge, Crafty Friends Challenge 'Special Occasion', Classic Design Team Open Challenge 'Anything Goes' and Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge 'Anything Goes'.

Embossing: Xcut 'Small Polka Hearts'
Colouring: Promarkers
Card: Light brown matt, white silk
Other: Wink of Stella, Computer generated sentiment 'Rockwell' font

I embossed the light brown card, trimmed it to size and attached it to the centre of the card front.  I printed the digi stamp onto white silk card, resized it and added the sentiment.   This was die-cut with the largest Lacy Squares die. The image was coloured with Promarkers and the windows highlighted with a Wink of Stella.  I cut two squares of white card and attached them to the rear of the image before fixing it to the centre of the card.

Happy 35th Birthday

I made this card for my nephew's birthday and am entering Stamping Sensations 'One for the Boys' challenge, Classic Design Team Open Challenge 'Anything Goes' and Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge 'Anything Goes'. The paper and card was from my snippets drawer so I'm also visiting the playground at Pixie's Crafty Workshop.

I attached a piece of Enchantment paper to centre of the card blank.  I stamped the numbers onto white card and then stamped the two smaller sentiment stamps above and below.  I coloured the numbers to match the papers, highlighting my nephew's age!  This strip was trimmed, layered onto brown card and attached across the centre of the card.

Carol Singers

It is my turn to host the Winter Wonderland challenge and I have chosen 'Carol Singers' as the theme, which is a nice easy challenge for Christmas projects (although we do have an alternative theme of 'Make a Scene').

This week we are sponsored by Zoe Bunny Crafts who are offering £10.00 to spend in their store and A Random Fan who are offering £10.00 to spend in their online store.

For my card I have used a lovely image from A Random Fan called 'The Carolers'.  I am entering this card into the ABC Christmas Challenge 'N is for No Rules' (in other words 'Anything Goes'), Classic Design Team Open Challenge 'Anything Goes' and Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra,   I'm also heading over to the playground at Pixie's Crafty Workshop as all the papers and card are from my snippets drawer.

I layered pink floral paper onto green card and attached it to the card front.  A strip of darker paper was layered onto green paper and attached to the left side of the card.  I resized the image and coloured it with Promarkers, matching the hats and scarves to my papers.  The image was then die cut and embossed before being layered onto a scalloped die cut circle and attached to the card with foam tape.  The sentiment was trimmed, layered onto green card and attached to the lower corner of the card.  To finish I punched three small circles, used a ball tool to make them into a dome shape and attached them to the top corner of the card.

Snowman and Sparkle

I trimmed the sentiment paper, layered it onto red mirri card and attached it to the card front.  The digi was resized and printed onto white silk card before being trimmed to a square and the corners punched.  I used Promarkers to colour the image, matching the colours to the backing paper.  This was then layered onto red mirri and attached to the centre of the card.  I added Star Dust Stickles around the base of the snowman and a Wink of Stella to highlight the image.  I die cut the snowflake and sprayed it with Spray & Sparkle before attaching it to the top of the image.  To finish I added a red nailhead to the centre of the snowflake.

Golden Wedding Anniversary

The current ABC Challenge is 'I for Important' so I thought I would share this card I made for a Golden Wedding Anniversary.  I'm also entering the Classic Design Team Open Challenge 'Anything Goes', Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge 'Anything Goes#,  as well as popping into the playground at Pixie's Crafty Workshop.

Snippets: Dark brown matt and gold mirri card

I die cut the Flourish Heart from gold mirri card and set it aside.  I printed the sentiment in a dark brown font onto white silk card and trimmed it into a square.  I die cut the Flourish Heart from the centre then layered it onto onto dark brown and gold mirri card before attaching it to the card front.  I inlaid the gold heart and the small pieces of the white heart to fill the gaps.

Snowflakes and Sentiment

For my card I've used a lovely snowflake embossing folder which is one of the items I bought with the voucher I won on Elly's blog,  I am entering this card into Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge 'Use a Sentiment', Cuttlebug Mania 'Embossing' challenge and Classic Design Team Open Challenge 'Anything Goes'.

I embossed the frame onto white silk card and trimmed it long the top and bottom edges.  I stamped the sentiment into the oval frame and embossed it with Silver Dollar embossing powder.  This panel was then layered onto silver mirri before being attached to the card front.  To finish I added silver bling dots around the sentiment.

Jewel Christmas Tree

The current ABC Christmas Challenge is 'J for Jewels' and I've used oddments of gems for my Jewel Christmas Tree.  I am also entering the Classic Design Team Open Challenge where 'Anything Goes' and Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra where 'Anything Goes as long as it's Christmas'.

I stamped and embossed the tree and sentiment onto white card.  The tree image was trimmed, layered onto brown card and attached to the left side of the card blank.  The sentiment was trimmed, layered onto brown card and attached to the lower edge of the card with Pinflair glue.  I then added various gems and pearls to decorate the tree.

Poinsettia Heel

I trimmed the paper, layered it onto red card and silver mirri before attaching it to the card front. I printed the Poinsettia Heel onto white card.  I die cut and embossed the image before attaching it to a scalloped and embossed silver mirri circle.  I coloured the shoe with a pale grey Promarker and Sakura Clear Star pen.  The poinsettia was coloured with Promarkers with a Wink of Stella on the leaves and Stickles on the yellow flowers.  The image was then attached to the centre of the card.  I printed the sentiment, trimmed it, layered it onto silver mirri and attached it to the card with foam tape.  To finish I added red nailheads to the top and bottom corners of the card.

Merry Christmas to You and Yours

The current challenge at Merry Monday is 'Getting Sentimental' where the sentiment is the main focus of the card.  I've used one of my favourite stamps for this card and am also entering the ABC Christmas Challenge 'G for Green or Gold' (I've used both), the Sparkles Christmas Challenge 'CAS Christmas' and the Classic Design Team Open Challenge 'Anything Goes'.  The paper and card were from my snippets drawer so I'm rushing across to Pixie's Crafty Workshop before the playground gates close.

I trimmed the snippet of green paper, layered it onto gold mirri and attached it across the centre of the card.  I stamped and embossed the sentiment onto white pearl card.  This was die cut and embossed before being attached to the card front with foam tape.  To finish I used a gold gel pan to colour the stars.
