November Rudolph Day

I made these quick cards for this month's Rudolph Day Challenge.

Christmas tree die (magazine freebie)
Snippets of mirri and white hammered card

I cut a square of white card, layered it onto mirri card and then attached it to the card front.  I die cut a Christmas tree and attached it to the card - so quick and easy!

Happy Christmas Mum

This is the Christmas card I've made for my Mum - as everything is from my snippets drawer I'm visiting the playground at Pixie's Crafty Workshop.

Woodware Holly Tree stamp
Docrafts Me to You sentiment stamp (magazine freebie)
Versafine Black Onyx ink
Wink of Stella
Cream and clear gems
Red and cream papers from snippets drawer

I layered cream paper onto red, attached it to the card front and stamped the sentiment. The tree was stamped onto green paper, cut out and attached to the card.  The star, holly leaves and bow were stamped onto red paper, cut out and attached with silicone glue.  Cream and clear gems were added to the tree and to finish I used a Wink of Stella on the star, leaves, bow and swirls.

The red backing paper was layered onto silver mirri card, then the ribbon was wrapped around it before it was attached to the card front.  The image was layered onto silver mirri card before being attached to the card with foam tape.  I attached the charm to a small piece of silver ribbon which was then tied to the ribbon strip.  To finish, I used a silver peel-off greeting.

Jewel Christmas Tree

This week Less is More have a colour challenge to use non-traditional colours (no red or green).  Even though it's not a one-layer challenge week, I surprised myself by making a one-layer card!

Woodware Christmas Bubble Tree stamp
Snowflake embossing folder (magazine freebie)
Versafine Onxy black ink
Clear embossing powder
Sakura Glaze pens
Snippet of paper
Triple thick gloss glaze

I embossed the front of the card and stamped and embossed the bubble tree, before colouring the bubbles with purple, pink, blue and yellow glaze pens.  I paper pieced the tree trunk and added a layer of gloss glaze before sticking it to the card.
