May Rudolph Day

It's time for the May Rudolph Day and I've used another image from the LOTV Festive Foliage Art Pad to make this quick card.  I'm also entering Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge 'Anything Goes', Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge 'Anything Goes' and Craty Hazelnut's Christms Challenge Extra.


Card blank: 7" x 5" white silk

Paper: Lili of the Valley 'Classic Christmas'

I trimmed the Christmas tree paper and attached it to the card blank adding a snippet of red paper down the left side.  I trimmed the top and bottom of the pre-coloured image before punching the corners and attaching it to the centre of the card.  To finish I highlighted the sentiment, parcels and baubles with a Wink of Stella.

Girl and Puppy in the Snow

There is a new challenge at Winter Wonderland and we want to see 'Hats and/or Scarves'.  We are sponsored by Sasayaki Glitter who are offering the winner a digi stamp of their choice.

I'm entering the Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge 'Anything Christmas Goes', Sparkles Christmas Challenge 'Snowflakes' and Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge 'Anything Goes'.  The paper and card were from my snippets drawer so I'm also popping across to the playground at Pixie's Crafty Workshop.


Card blank: 6" x 6" white silk

Embossing: Kars tan embossing mat

Snippets: Marianne Design 'Snow Paper', Lili of the Valley 'Festive Trimmings'
Other: Diamond Stickles, Turquoise Candy BonBons, Wink of Stella.

I trimmed the red paper and attached it to the card front.  The digi stamp was resized and printed onto white card before being die-cut and embossed.  I coloured the image to match the colours of the paper and then attached it to the centre of the card.  I punched two large and two small snowflakes and attached them to the corners of the image before adding turquoise BonBons to the centres.  To finish I added Stickles to the snowflakes around the girl and a Wink of Stella on her dress frill and hat.

Beautiful Blooms

I made this card for a friend's birthday and am entering the Allsorts 'Happy Birthday' challenge.  I'm also entering Die-Cut Divas 'May Flowers' challenge, Crafty Friends 'Summer Colours' challenge and  Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge 'Anything Goes'.


Card blank: 6" x 6" white silk

Dies: Memory Box 'Grand Happy Birthday' and Tattered Lace 'Mini Butterfly'
Card: Purple and lilac pearlescent, white silk

I trimmed the purple card so it was slightly smaller than the card blank.  I then trimmed the width of the pre-coloured Art Pad image before die-cutting 'happy' from the lower edge.  This was then attached to the card blank.  I die-cut 'happy birthday' from lilac pearlescent card, trimmed it and attached it to the lower edge of the card.  I then die-cut the sentiment from white silk card and inlaid the pieces.  To finish I added a small die-cut butterfly to the top corner.

Festive Scene

I made this card for the Merry Monday 'Non-black Silhouette' challenge and followed the sketch at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown.  I'm also entering the ABC Christmas Challenge 'K for Keep it Simple', Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge 'Anything Goes and Happy Little Stampers - Anything Goes with Dies challenge.


Card blank: 5" x 5" white silk
Dies: Creative Dies ''Festive Scene', Spellbinders Nestabilities 'Standard Circles Large' and 'Classic Scalloped Circles Large'
Embossing: Kars tan embossing mat
Card: Gold pearlescent and white silk

I die cut the Festive Scene from white card and layered it onto a gold die cut circle.  I then die cut and embossed a scalloped white circle and a slightly larger scalloped gold circle.  The Festive Scene and scalloped circles were layered and attached to the centre of the card blank.  To finish I removed the snowflakes from the die cut waste and added them above the houses.

Wishing you a Magical Birthday

I trimmed the pink spotty paper, layered it onto brown card and attached it to the card front.  The precoloured Art Pad image was die cut, layered onto a die cut and embossed scalloped circle and attached to the centre of the card.  The sentiment was die cut, layered onto a scalloped die cut circle and attached to the top corner of the card with Pinflair glue.  I die cut the numbers and attached them to the lower corner.  To finish I highlighted the fairy, teddy and present with a Wink of Stella.

You're how old?

I made this card for my brother-in-law's birthday.  I'm entering Seize the Birthday 'Anything Goes' challenge and Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge 'Anything Goes.  The card and paper are from my snippets drawer so I'm also heading into the playground at Pixie's Crafty Workshop.


Card blank: White silk DL
Stamp: Woodware 'Numbers'
Ink: Versafine Vintage Sepia
Colouring: Promarkers
Snippets:  Green mirri and white silk card, brown paper

I attached a strip of brown paper across the card blank.  I then stamped the numbers and sentiments onto white card and trimmed the top and bottom.  This was layered onto brown paper and green mirri card before being attached across the middle of the card.  To finish I coloured B-i-L's age with a bright green Promarker.

James Bear in the Snow

This month's Christmas Cards All Year Round challenge is 'Precipitation in some form (rain, snow, clouds, ice)'.  I've chosen 'snow' and used a pre-coloured LOTV image, snowflake paper and snowflake die.

I trimmed the snowflake paper, layered it onto light gold card and attached it to the card front.  I trimmed the pre-coloured image, layered it onto gold card and attached it to the centre.  I added a gold die-cut snowflake to the top corner of the image, adding a shimmering dot in the centre.  I highlighted the image with a Wink of Stella, added white Fun Flock to James' hat and added Diamond Stickles to the snowflakes and snow.
