Celebrate in Style

I made this card for a friend's birthday and am entering the Seize the Birthday 'Anything Goes' challenge and Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge 'Anything Goes'.  I'm also popping across to the playground at Pixie's Crafty Workshop.

Card blank: 7" x 7" white silk
Stamp: Woodware 'Bubble Bloom - Clarissa'
Ink: Versafine Imperial Purple
Embossing: Stampendous clear embossing powder
Other: Gold, purple, red and turquoise nailheads
Snippets: Green paper, white silk card, oddments of Card Candi

I trimmed a the white card to a square before stamping and embossing the flower and sentiment. This was then layered onto green paper and attached to the card front.  I stamped the leaves onto another snippet of green paper and fussy cut them before attaching them to the flower. I've got a box of Card Candi oddments and managed to find enough flower Candi to fill the bubble bloom, these were attached with Glossy Accents.  I then added nailheads to match the colour of the Candi.

June Rudolph Day

This is my final Rudolph Day card as part of ScrappyMo's design team and I've used a lovely die cut which ScrappyMo sent me in a surprise package.  I'm entering this card into the Merry Monday 'Peace, Joy and/or Love' challenge where we need to use one or more of the words - I've managed two!  I'm also entering Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge 'Anything Goes' and Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra where 'Anything Goes as long as it's Christmas'.

Card blank: 6" x 6" white hammer
Die: Creative Expressions 'Christmas Tree Greetings'
Card: Green matt, red glitter
Paper: Wild Rose Studio 'Painted Poinsettias'
Other: Red nailheads

I trimmed the paper, layered it onto green card and attached it to the card front.  ScrappyMo had die cut this beautiful image from red glitter card, so all I had to do was attach it to the centre of the card. To balance the floral image on the paper I added three nailheads to the top corner of the card.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's entries into this challenge and don't forget there is a fabulous prize for one lucky winner who will be chosen at random - this month it's a Memory Box Holly Leaf Border die.
