Happy Birthday to You

I made this card for a friend and am entering The Craft Barn: Two Weekly Challenge 'Loads of Stars', Crafty Calendar Challenge 'Father's Day/For a Male' and Seize the Birthday 'Anything Goes' challenge.

Card blank:  DL white silk
Stamp: Woodware 'Happy Birthday to You:
Ink: Versafine Vintage Sepia
Colouring: Sakura coloured pencils
Card: Burgundy matt, white silk
Paper: Lili of the Valley 'Enchantment'
Other: Burgundy star button, Twine

I layered patterned paper onto burgundy card and attached it to the card front.   I stamped the image and stars onto white card, trimmed it to size, layered it onto burgundy card and attached it to the card front.  I coloured 'Happy' with various shades of coloured pencil until it matched the burgundy card.  To finish, I tied twine through the holes in the button and attached it to the card.
