I made this card for a friend's birthday - someone who doesn't like 'girlie' colours.
I covered the front of the card blank with purple and teal patterned paper leaving a border around the edge. I die cut 'Happy Birthday' from white hammer card and attached it across the bottom of the card, lining up the edges with the paper. I die cut 'Happy Birthday' from dark purple pearlescent card and inlaid the letters. To finish, I die cut a butterfly from dark purple pearlescent card and attached it above the sentiment.

I think I am going to have to purchase that word die as it looks to be very versatile. I like the way you have laid over the purple design paper. The birthday sentiment die goes beautifully in white with the purple behind the cut out words and for the butterfly Kath, and I love the coordinating dp..perfect colours for your friend. x
