Thank You and Butterflies

I've another Thank You card to share (it's that time of year!) and this one has been made with a stamp that I bought ages ago and, shamefully, never used so I'm paying a visit to Darnell's NBUS Challenge (NBUS stands for 'never-before-used-schtuff').  I'm also entering the Butterfly Challenge which is 'Thank you with Butterflies'.

Card blank: 6" x 6" white silk
Stamp: Stampendous 'Thank You'
Dies: Spellbinders Nestabilities Standard Circles Large and Classic Scalloped Circles Large
Embossing: Clear embossing powder
Ink: Versafine Smokey Grey
Card: Grey mirri
Papers: Wild Rose Studio 'Bluebell'
Snippets: Silver butterfly and gems

I layered butterfly paper onto grey mirri and attached it to the card front.  The bluebells from another sheet of paper were fussy-cut and attached to the bottom of the card.  I stamped and embossed the sentiment on white card.  This was then die-cut, layered onto a scalloped grey mirri die-cut and attached to the card.  To finish, I attached a silver butterfly decorated with two small green gems.

I love the way you have fussy cut the flowers onto the design paper. Looks very pretty with all those Butterflies in flight too. A gorgeous Thankyou card to receive. Thankyou for fluttering by #21. Hugs Mrs A.

Such beautiful paper, and stunning use of the pattern as you've placed the pretty flowers. It's brilliant with the glisten of that butterfly perched ready to fly away. Good for you at using a NBUS. I've got lots of them, and am hoping to get 'caught up' enough to join in Darnell's Challenge. Loved the card. TFS & Happy wkend. Hope you can stay cozy if the weather is unpleasant.
