Cross Stitch Snowman

This cute snowman had been a magazine cover gift that I had bought in a bundle of items being sold online.  In the kit the white part of the snowman wasn't stitched but I thought it looked unfinished so I've used a white thread to fill in the gaps.

After finishing the stitching I fastened the fabric behind a piece of card with a stitched circle aperture and then used foam tape to attach it to the front of the card.

Such a pretty cross stitched snowman Kath and love the dark red frame which goes beautifully with the red on the snowman's scarf and hat. I think the white thread definitely looks better than just leaving it blank. x

Ahh!! This is a real cutie Kath.

I can imagine the snowman would look quite strange not filled in with stitches .. .. I would have done the same as you.

Hope all is well at your end.

Love Jules xx
