Cross Stitch Christmas Card

Whilst tidying my craft boxes I came upon this small tri-fold Christmas card - a perfect size to use with small cross stitch designs.

The Christmas tree pattern is from an old Leisure Arts 'Christmas Stitchin'' booklet I've recently bought from ebay - there are lots of small Christmas patterns which are perfect to use with oddments of thread.

After stitching the design I trimmed the aida and inserted it into the card.

What a beautiful cross stitched tree Kath and love the different patterns which make it up and in lots of pretty colours, and a great contrast to the dark red and gold tri fold card. x

That is adorable! Love all the colours and patterns on the tree.
I tried to get back into cross stitch this weekend, as there is a card I wanted to make, but now I wear varifocals I just can't see what I'm doing. Devoted two afternoons to it then had to admit defeat.
