Anet is the host for this week's Winter Wonderland challenge and she would like you to 'Add Some Sparkle' which is a nice easy challenge for Christmas projects.
This week we are sponsored by Crafty Sentiments Designs who are offering three digis from their store and The Craft Barn are offering a £10.00 voucher to spend in their store.
I have used a lovely image from Crafty Sentiments Designs called 'Joy of Christmas' for my card. I am entering this card into the Alphabet Challenge 'H for Hand Coloured Image', Classic Design Team Open Challenge 'Anything Goes' and Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra
Card blank: 7" x 7" white silk
Stamp: Crafty Sentiments Designs 'Joy of Christmas' digi stamp
Die: Snowflake (magazine freebie)
Punch: Woodware squared corner
Card: Red mirri, white silk
Paper: Lili of the Valley 'Classic Christmas'
Other: Crafters Companion Spray & Sparkle, Stardust Stickles, Wink of Stella, red nailhead
I trimmed the sentiment paper, layered it onto red mirri card and attached it to the card front. The digi was resized and printed onto white silk card before being trimmed to a square and the corners punched. I used Promarkers to colour the image, matching the colours to the backing paper. This was then layered onto red mirri and attached to the centre of the card. I added Star Dust Stickles around the base of the snowman and a Wink of Stella to highlight the image. I die cut the snowflake and sprayed it with Spray & Sparkle before attaching it to the top of the image. To finish I added a red nailhead to the centre of the snowflake.
