Christmas Angel

There's a great sketch challenge at 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown this week and I've used a Lili of the Valley Christmas Angel and papers for my card.  I'm also entering the Christmas Card Challenge which is 'Anything Goes', Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge where 'Anything Goes as long as it's Christmas' and Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra' where 'Anything Goes' every month.

Card blank: 6" x 6" white silk
Image: Lili of the Valley 'Christmas Angels' Art Pad
Die: Spellbinders Nestabilities Standard Circles Large
Embossing: Kars tan embossing mat
Paper: Lili of the Valley 'Classic Christmas'
Other: Wink of Stella

I covered the front of the card blank with red paper.  As I didn't have a large circle die, I put a Pyrex mixing bowl onto the holly paper and cut around it.  The semi-circle was then attached to the left of the card.  I die cut and embossed the angel image and attached it to the centre of the card with foam tape.  To finish I highlighted the angel with a Wink of Stella.

Who needs a die when you have a pyres down Kath, step back 10/12 years and we relied on all sorts for our crafting, we are a tad spoilt now. Pretty card, the traditional colours never fail to please.

Good for you, using your resources to create the large semicircle! :) The holly print coordinates well with the swirling ivy in the image. It's a fabulous card and I'm so glad you've shared it with us at 52CCT! :)
