DIY Legend

I made this card for a friend's birthday - he's a keen DIY-er, so I thought the image would be perfect.  As everything came from my snippets drawer I'm in Pixie's Crafty Snippets Playground.

Wild Rose Studio 'DIY Legend' image and sentiment
Wild Rose Studio 'Man About Town' papers
Versafine Black Onyx and Crimson Red inks

I used Versafine Black Onyx ink to stamp the main image and Crimson Red for the sentiment - these are both from the Wild Rose Studio 'DIY Legend' set.  This was then mounted onto black card.  The papers are scraps from the Wild Rose Studio 'Man About Town' paper pack.  I layered red check paper onto black card and attached it to the front of a white card blank.  The black patterned paper was mounted onto black card and attached to the card, with the image layered on top.

Oh Kath, that card really made me smile :-)) but where's the dripping blood and sticking plasters???? Not an accurate representation of DIY in our house at all lol!!

Brilliant card Kath - I had to take a second look to focus on the DIY drill - too busy thinking Sean Connery/007 here! Great use of snippets too.

That plaid paper is so nice...palids are hard to find at times...looks grood with the damask!
