Cross Stitch Rainbow Heart

I stitched this rainbow heart for one of the assessments for my Diploma - it's from a design by Helen at Fandom Cross Stitchery.  I trimmed a piece of white hammer card so it was slightly smaller than the front of the card, die cut a stitched circle in the centre and used Versafine Majestic Blue to stamp the sentiment (Hobby Art General Greetings) in the lower corner.

After mounting the cross stitch behind the aperture I attached it to the front of the card.

A beautiful rainbow of colours for this really pretty cross stitched heart Kath, also the stitched aperture frame has wonderful texture using the hammered card and the rounded corners and blue inked sentiment finish it perfectly. x
