It's a new challenge at Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge. This is a great challenge where the theme is always 'Anything Goes' as long as you use some patterned paper on your creation.
I have used 'Steve the Seagull' paper and toppers from Making Cards magazine. I am entering A Gem of a Challenge 'Summer Fun' and Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge 'Anything Goes'.
Card blank: 7" x 7" white silk
Image: 'Steve the Seagull' (magazine freebie)
Dies: Spellbinders Nestabilities Standard Circles Large and Classic Scalloped Circles Large
Card: Burgundy matt and mustard texture
Paper: 'Steve the Seagull' (magazine freebie)
Other: Wink of Stella
I trimmed the seashell paper to a square (I wish they had kept the papers to A4 size instead of reducing them to A5 - just so it looks better on the store shelves!), layered it onto burgundy and mustard card before attaching it to the card front. The seagull topper was trimmed, layered onto burgundy card and attached to the centre. I die-cut the sentiment, layered it onto a scalloped circle die-cut from burgundy card and attached it with foam tape. To finish, I highlighted the seagull with a Wink of Stella.

Love the seagull. Thank you for your lovely design card for Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper September challenge. x
That was a great magazine freebie Kath as Steve is so cute and the background paper with such pretty colours works beautifully with him, and the matting and layering with the burgundy gives a lovely frame and then the mustard picks up on the paper colours really well. x
Totally love the image and some great papers used.
