Merry Christmas

I made this card following this week's sketch at Freshly Made Sketches and using the colours from the 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown colour challenge which is to use Red and Green, plus Silver or Gold.

Penny Black Wonder Collection tree and sentiment stamps (magazine freebie)
Red moondust card
Versafine Olympia Green ink
Gold metallic ribbon

I stamped the tree onto white card and layered it onto red moondust card.  Gold ribbon was wrapped around the top before it was attached to the card font.   The sentiment was stamped and layered onto red card before being attached to the card front.  To finish, I attached a small gold bow to the card.

Thanks for you kind comment over on my blog. I love the simplicity of your card and glad I've seen it, now I know what that tree looks like on a card, I picked up this set last week :) x

What a lovely tree, and I really like the sentiment too, all set off by the red card. It's nice to see a different layout, we so often feel we have to leave a border all around, but I like this where it's set right to the top xxx
