April Rudolph Day

It's time for another Rudolph Day and another of my super quick 4" x 4" snippet cards using magazine freebies.  I'm also entering the Die-cut Divas 'Anything Goes' challenge and Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes With Dies challenge.

Card blank: 4" x 4" white matt
Die: Creative Dies 'Woodland Scene' (magazine freebie)
Other: Wink of Stella
Cards: Dark blue mirri and white matt
Paper: Emma Ball (magazine freebie)

I die cut the woodland scene from white card and layered it onto a snippet of blue paper before attaching it to a piece of dark blue mirri card.  The panel was then attached to the card blank.  I attached the stars and snowflakes and added a Wink of Stella around the tree and reindeer.

Fairy with Present

I made this quick card for a young friend who likes fairies and anything pink.  I'm entering the first challenge at Back to Basics and Beyond 'Matting and Layering' and the Seize the Birthday 'Anything Goes' challenge.

Card blank: 6"  6" white matt
Image: Lili of the Valley 'Fairy with Present'
Stamp: Ultimate Crafts L'aquarelle Designs 'Sentiments' (magazine freebie)
Die: Memory Box 'Classic Numbers'
Ink: Brilliance Pearlescent Orchid
Card: Cerise matt
Paper: Wild Rose Studio 'Bella'
Other: Wink of Stella

I trimmed the parcel paper, layered it onto cerise card and attached it to the card front.  I trimmed the precoloured topper, and die cut the '6' from the bottom corner.  I used the 'Today' that I had previously cut from a larger stamp and using my MISTI I stamped it at the side of the die cut '6'.  This panel was layered onto cerise card and attached to the centre of the card.  I die cut '6' from cerise card and inlaid it into the topper.  To finish I highlighted the fairy with a Wink of Stella.

Happy Birthday

I made this card for the Cardz for Galz 'Black, white and one bright colour' challenge.  I'm also entering the Die-Cut Divas 'Anything Goes' and Seize the Birthday 'Vibrant Colours' challenges.  The card is from my snippets drawers so I'm heading into the playground at Pixie's Crafty Workshop.

Card blank: 7" x 7" white matt
Dies: Apple Blossom 'Cherry Tree' (magazine freebie), Creative Expressions 'Mini Happy Birthday'
Colouring: Black Promarker
Snippets: Black, white and cerise matt card

I die cut two cherry tree dies from black card and then trimmed another piece of black card to make a square the width of the die cut.  I trimmed a piece of white card, layered it onto the black square and attached it to the card front.  I then used Stick and Spray glue to attach the two die cuts to the top and bottom of the card.  I ran a black Promarker around the inside edge of the flowers as I wanted to ensure the white card didn't show around the edges of the inlaid flowers.  I cut the blossoms from several snippets of cerise card and inlaid them.  To finish I die cut 'Happy Birthday' from black card and attached it across the centre.

Christmas Reindeer

It's time for a new challenge at Winter Wonderland and we want to see your 'Cute Christmas Critters'.  We're sponsored by Just Me Digital Stamps who are offering the lucky winner three digis of their choice.

I'm entering the Cutie Pie Challenge 'Delightful Digis', Sparkles Christmas Challenge 'Feature a Creature' and the Holly and Ivy Challenge 'Anything Christmas Goes'.  The card and paper are from my snippets drawer so I'm also heading into the playground at Pixie's Crafty Workshop.

Card blank: 5" x 5" white silk
Stamp: Just Me Digital Stamps 'Christmas Reindeer digi
Dies: Spellbinders Nestabilities ' Standard Circles Large' and 'Classic Scalloped Circles Large'
Embossing: Kars tan embossing mat
Card: White silk
Snippets: Brown matt card, Marianne Design 'Wintertime' paper

I trimmed the snippet of reindeer paper into a square, layered it onto brown card and attached it to the card front.  I resized the digi and printed it onto white card.  This image was die cut and embossed before being coloured with Promarkers.  This circle was then layered onto a brown die cut and embossed circle and attached to the centre of the card. Quick and simple!

Over the Hill

I made this card for my brother-in-law's birthday and am entering the Bugaboo Weekly Challenge 'Anything Goes'.  I am also entering the Seize the Birthday 'Anything Goes' challenge and Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge 'Anything Goes'.

Card blank: 7" x 5" white silk
Stamp: Bugaboo 'Gus Over the Hill' digi
Dies: Signature Dies 'Star Bunting', Memory Box 'Classic Numbers'
Colouring: Promarkers
Card: Green spot, red matt, white silk

I trimmed the spot paper and attached it to the card blank.  The Gus image and sentiment were resized and printed onto white card.  The panel was trimmed and coloured with Promarkers before being attached to the centre of the card.  I die cut the Star Bunting from red card and attached it across the top corner, adding three of the small stars to the right of Gus.  To finish I die cut a 5 and 0 from red card and attached them under the sentiment.

All White Bauble

It's time for a new challenge at Christmas Crafts All Year Round and we want to see your 'All White' creations.  I'm entering the Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge 'Anything Christmas Goes' and the The Merry Christmas Challenge 'Always Anything Goes + Christmas'.

Card blank: 5" x 5" white matt
Dies: Marianne Design Creatables 'Christmas Bauble' (magazine freebie), Spellbinders Nestabilities 'Standard Circles Large'
Embossing: Apple Blossom 'Holly' folder (magazine freebie)
Card: White matt and white pearlescent
Other: White ribbon

I embossed a piece of white card, trimmed it around the border, layered it onto a slightly larger piece of white pearlescent card and attached it to the front of the card.  I die cut the Christmas bauble from pearlescent card and also a circle of the same size. I attached the bauble to the circle.  I then die cut the bauble from white matt card and inlaid the pieces into the bauble.  I normally run an inlaid die cut through my Cuttlebug to ensure everything is flat, but as the bauble had some embossing I rolled it with a brayer instead so it wasn't flattened too much. The bauble was attached to the centre with foam tape.  To finish I made a small white ribbon bow and attached it to the top of the bauble with a blob of Pinflair glue.
