I made this card for a friend's birthday following this week's sketch at Freshly Made Sketches. I'm also paying my last visit to Pixie's Crafty Snippets Playground.

Christmas Toy Shop
This month's Sparkles's Christmas Challenge is 'Favourite Festive Colours'. This card used red and gold, which I love as traditional festive colours.
Upcycled Christmas card
Gold mirri card
Red snowflake paper
Nestabilities Classic Scalloped Circles Large and Classic Circles Large
Gold gems
I die cut the image and attached it to a scalloped circle of gold mirri card. Red snowflake paper was layered onto gold mirri and attached to the card front. The image was attached to the centre with foam pads. To finish, I attached three gold gems to the top right and three to the bottom left of the card.

Best Wishes
Jackie Rockwell has designed the sketch for this week's CAS(E) this Sketch challenge. As my card uses oddments from my snippets drawer, I'm paying another visit to Pixie's Crafty Snippets Playground.
Floral paper and three matching chipboard circles (magazine freebie)
Three upcycled buttons from an old cardigan
Black Woodware peel-off greeting
Following the sketch, I trimmed the floral paper and attached it to the card blank. The chipboard circles were fastened to the buttons and attached to the card blank. To finish, I added a black peel-off greeting.

Blue Christmas
This Christmas card uses an upcycled card and oddments of paper, ribbon and peel-offs, so I'm into Pixie's Crafty Snippets Playground and I'm also entering the card into Sarn's Rudolph Day Challenge.

Polar Bear Christmas
I can't believe that it's almost three weeks since I last posted to my blog, but I'm going to make up for it this weekend. My first card is for this week's Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge 'Show some white - a little or a lot'. I'm also entering the card into Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra where 'Anything goes as long as it's Christmas'.
Upcycled Christmas card
Pale pink mirri card
Nestabilites 'Labels One' dies
Crafts Too 'Twinkle' embossing folder
Diamond stickles
I embossed a white card blank with a star embossing folder. The image was die cut and attached to a die cut of pink mirri card. This was then attached to the card front with foam tape. To finish, I added a little extra glitter with Diamond Stickles.

Enjoy Your Special Day
I haven't managed to make many cards this week as we've been decorating our spare bedroom/my craft room. I did manage to make this card for a friend's birthday, as it's made from snippets I'm also in Pixie's Crafty Snippets Playground.
Whimsy Stamps - Wee Love you Bunches (magazine freebie)
Hobby Art General Greetings
Nestabilities Classic Standard Circles and Classic Scalloped Circles
Kars embossing mat
Green card and pink patterned paper
Versafine Vintage Sepia
Promarkers
Nailheads
I stamped the image onto a white card and coloured it with promarkers. The image was die cut and embossed before being attached to a scalloped circle of green card. I layered pink paper to green card and attached it to the card front. The image was attached to the centre of the card. I used Versafine Vintage Sepia ink to stamp the sentiment. To finish, I attached three copper nailheads to the top right and three to the bottom left of the card.
