Angel Snow Globe
I made this card for the current Merry Monday 'Snow Globe' challenge. I'm also entering the Crafty Calendar Challenge 'Things with Wings' and the Happy Little Stampers CAS Challenge 'Inlaid Die Cutting'. As all the card came from my snippets drawer I'm heading over to the playground at Pixies's Crafty Workshop.

Image: Lili of the Valley 'Christmas Angels' Art Pad
Dies: Spellbinders Nestabilities Standard Circles Large, Presscut 'Merry Christmas'
Embossing: Kars tan embossing mat
Other: Wink of Stella
Snippets: Gold and dark blue pearl card
I die cut the image with the second largest circle die. I then used the two largest dies to die cut and emboss a frame from gold pearl card. The image and frame were attached to the card. I cut two pieces of gold card for the snow globe base and die cut 'Christmas' in one of them (this die is actually 'Merry Christmas' but I have snipped the join between the two words so I can die cut them separately). I attached the two pieces of the base with double sided tape. I then die cut 'Christmas' from dark blue card and inlaid it into the base before attaching it with foam tape. To finish I added a Wink of Stella to the image.

Vintage and Flowers
The current challenge at Allsorts is 'Vintage' and I made this card following this week's sketch at Sketch Saturday. I'm linking up to Iwona's blog - to celebrate her fourth blogaversary she's asking people to link cards with four flowers for a chance to win her candy. I'm also visiting the playground at Pixie's Crafty Workshop with my snippets.
Card blank: 7" x 7" kraft
Image: Making Cards 'Playtime' (magazine freebie)
Punches: Woodware 'Daisy' and 'Grass'
Card: White silk
Paper: Making Cards 'Playtime' beige pattern
Other: Pearls
Snippets: Red, blue and green papers
I cut the the beige patterned paper slightly narrower than the card blank, layered it onto white card and attached it to the card. I attached a strip of red patterned paper across the lower section of the card. I cut around the image and attached it with foam tape. I glued snippets of blue and green papers to make them double sided and then punched four flowers and five stems. These were then attached to the frame of the image. To finish I attached pearls to the centre of the flowers and the corners of the beige paper.

Dig It
I made this card for the current Cardz for Guyz 'Dig it' challenge using a pre-coloured topper that had been a magazine freebie. I'm also entering the Crafty Friends 'In the Garden' challenge and the Seize the Birthday 'Anything Goes' challenge.
Card blank: 7" x 5" kraft card
Image: 'Hugs with Henry' pre-coloured topper (magazine freebie)
Stamp: Birthday Wishes (magazine freebie)
Ink: Versafine Vintage Sepia
Card: Kraft
Paper: Jennifer Ellory 'Floral Papers' (magazine freebie), 'Hugs with Henry' papers (magazine freebie)
I covered the front of the card blank with green paper, leaving a small border around the edge. A strip of orange spot paper was then attached down the left side. I trimmed the image, layered it onto kraft card and attached it. The sentiment was stamped onto the reverse side of the same sheet of paper as the image so it was the same white (I find there are so many different whites that I try and use the same paper for sentiments as the main image). The sentiment was trimmed and layered onto kraft card before being attached to the card front with Pinflair glue.

Penguin One Sheet Bag
Eileen is the host of this week's Winter Wonderland challenge and she has chosen 'Anything but a Card' as the theme. You can make or alter anything you like - tags, boxes, sleeves for wine bottles - but it must be a Christmas project. This month we have two fabulous sponsors for our challenge - Di's Digi Stamps are offering $12.00 to spend in their store and Marianne Designs are offering two fabulous dies.
I have made a One Sheet Bag (following the instructions in the Everyone Needs a Houghie 2 book) which is perfect for small gifts I'm entering this into the Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge 'Anything Goes as Long as it's Christmas' and the ABC Challenges 'G is for Grand (Anything but a Card)' and Sparkles Christmas Challenge 'Christmas Cuties'.
Image: Lili of the Valley 'Merry Christmas Penguins' Mini Masterpieces pre-coloured toppers
Punch: Woodware Snowflake (regular)
Colouring: Promarkers (Lavender & Amethyst)
Card: Purple matt
Paper: A4 lilac/blue paper from Making Cards (magazine freebie)
Other: White organza ribbon, white pearls, hole punch
To make the bag I scored 2½ inches from each long side and 4½ from each short before folding the side sections to make the bag, using Collall All Purpose glue to fasten the sides and bottom. I trimmed one of the small toppers from the Mini Masterpieces sheet and used the Lavender Promarker to colour the banner so it matched the paper. I layered the topper onto purple card and attached it to the front of the bag. I punched three small snowflakes, attached them to the topper and fastened small white pearls to the centre of each. As I didn't have any purple ribbon, I used the Amethyst Promarker to colour a piece of white ribbon. I punched two holes in the top of the bag, threaded the ribbon through the holes and made a bow at the front.

I'm also entering the 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown 'Pick a Previous Theme' challenge (I have chosen O Little Town from May 2015), Christmas Card Challenges 'Anything Goes' and Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge 'Anything Goes as Long as it's Christmas.
Card blank: 6" x 6" white hammer
Dies: Festive Scene (magazine freebie), Spellbinders Nestabilities Standard Circles Large
Card: Marianne Design 'Snow Paper' white glitter, purple and silver Moondust, white hammer, white silk
Paper: Emma Ball blue ombre paper (magazine freebie)
I layered a square of white hammer card onto the purple Moondust and attached it to the card front. I attached a piece of ombre paper to white card (to make it the same thickness as the rest of the card I used for the image). The Festive Scene was cut from purple Moondust card and the glitter card, the sky was cut from the ombre paper and the centre section with the windows was cut from silver Moondust. I attached the complete purple image to a purple circle and then inlaid the rest of the pieces from the Festive Scene. When complete I attached it to the centre of the card.

Don't let life ruffle your feathers!
I made this card for the current CAS Colours & Sketches sketch challenge and I'm also entering the Cardz 4 Guyz 'Monochrome' challenge.
Card blank: 6" x 6" white silk
Stamp: Hot off the Press 'Feathers' (magazine freebie)
Die: Hot off the Press 'Feather' (magazine freebie)
Ink: Versafine Vintage Sepia
Colouring: Promarker (Cocoa)
Card: White silk, brown matt, bronze embossed
I die cut two feathers from bronze card and two from the brown matt card. The bronze feathers were layered onto the brown ones to give a shadow effect I stamped the sentiment in the bottom corner of the white card, this was then trimmed slightly to accommodate the feathers. As I didn't have any brown card for layering, I used one of Liz's tips and ran a Promarker around the edge of another piece of white card. I then layered the white card onto this coloured layer before attaching it to the card front. To finish I attached the feathers following the sketch.

Teal Butterflies
I made this card for the Butterfly Challenge 'T for Texture and/or Teal', using inspiration from a card by Carol Lampard in Die-cutting Essentials magazine. I'm also entering the Cuttlebug Mania 'Butterflies' challenge and the Alphabet Challenge 'E for Embossing Folders'. The card is from my snippets drawer so I'm also hopping across to the playground at Pixie's Crafty Workshop.
Card blank: 6" x 6" white linen
Dies: Tattered Lace ' Mini Butterfly' ,Apple Blossom 'Flourish Heart' (magazine freebie), Creative Dies 'Thank You' (magazine freebie)
Embossing: Floral Border (magazine freebie)
Snippets: Dark and pale teal matt card
I embossed a strip of dark teal card, trimmed the edges, layered it onto pale teal card and attached it to the lower edge of the card. I die cut two Flourish Hearts from dark teal card (one was just the top section of the heart) and the two butterflies from pale teal card. The large heart was attached to the left side of the card, trimmed against the edge of the card and the embossed strip. The upper section of the second heart was the attached and trimmed. I inlaid the two pale teal butterflies and attached small hearts amongst the flourish. I die cut Thank You from dark teal card and attached it to the upper edge of the card. To finish I attached a Tattered Lace mini butterfly below the sentiment.
