Eggbert

I made this card for the current Bugaboo Stella says Sketch challenge.  I'm entering the Cuttlebug Mania 'Winter Wonderland' and Die Cut Divas 'Make your Project Sentiment Free' challenges.  I'm also entering Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge 'Anything Goes' and Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra.


Card blank: 7" x 5" white silk
Stamp: Bugaboo 'Eggbert Winter' digi (this week's Friday Freebie)
Dies: Spellbinders Nestabilities Standard Circles Large and Classic Scalloped Circles Large
Embossing: Crafts-Too 'Twinkle' folder and Kars tan embossing mat
Colouring: Promarkers
Card: Red mirri and white silk
Paper: Lili of the Valley 'Classic Christmas'
Other: Red grosgrain ribbon, red nailheads, Diamond Stickles, Wink of Stella

I cut a piece of white card slightly smaller than the card front and embossed the top section before attaching holly paper on the lower half.  I wrapped red ribbon around the middle and attached it to the card front.  I resized and printed the image before die cutting and embossing it. This was then attached to a die cut and embossed scalloped circle.  I coloured Eggbert with Promarkers and a Wink of Stella.  I trimmed the image before attaching it to the card with Pinflair glue.  I added Stickles to the snow and three red gems.

    This is a fun Bugaboo image Kath and the LOTV holly paper goes beautifully and I love the little stars embossed piece with the pretty red ribbon brknging the two halves together. A delightful card. x
