Winter Princess

I made this card for the current Lili of the Valley sketch challenge.  I'm also entering A Gem of a Challenge 'Favourite Colour Combination' as I love red and green on Christmas cards, Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge 'Anything Goes as long as it's Christmas ' and Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra where 'Anything Goes'.

Card blank: 6" x 4" dark red hammer
Image: Lili of the Valley 'Lili's Die Cuts Winter Princesses - Eleanor'
Punch: Woodware Snowflake
Card: Green holly embossed, dark red hammer and white silk
Other: Small red gems

I trimmed a piece of green embossed card, layered it onto white card and attached it to the card front. I cut a strip of dark red card, layered it onto white card and attached it across the bottom of the card. The Eleanor image was already die cut and I attached it to the front of the card with Pinflair glue.  I punched two snowflakes and, following the sketch, attached them to the card adding small red gems to the centre of each.

  4. I love this sweet image and she looks perfect with the traditional colours on your card. Slowly getting back into the swing of things but left with a hacking cough. This has been a very bad bout of flu going the rounds. Hugs Mrs A.

Gorgeous image and a brilliant card.
Not seen this image before and I am only 20 mins away from LOTV so I have been quite often.
