Recycle and Ruby Red

The current Butterfly Challenge is 'R for Recycle and/or Ruby Red'.  I have used cardboard from a croissant box and the image was cut from a postcard.  The ruby red card was from my snippets drawer so I'm popping over to the playground at Pixie's Crafty Workshop.

Card blank: 5" x 5" cream silk
Image: Upcycled postcard
Die: Tattered Lace 'Mini Butterfly'
Card: Upcycled croissant box
Snippets: Ruby red embossed card

I cut a square of card from the bottom of the croissant box, layered it onto ruby red embossed card and attached it to the card front.  The image was trimmed to a square leaving the flower and a few petals, this was then layered onto red card and attached to the centre.  I die cut a mini butterfly and attached it to the top of the image.

  9. Lovely colour combo. The wavy lines from the box are really interesting and a good excuse for more croissants. :)
