This is my last post for a while as we're heading to Scotland tomorrow for a couple of months. I made this card for Steve's birthday - we'll be staying on a site on the shore of Luce Bay on his birthday so I thought a nautical card would be perfect for him. I've used more oddments from my Hundydory drawer - this uses a topper from the Perfect Pastimes 'On the Ocean Wave' set, plus an odd 'Happy Birthday' topper and some pale blue patterned card from an unknown sets.
To make this card I used:
6" x 6" cream hammer card blank
Hunkydory 'On the Ocean Wave' and ki topper
Snippets of gold mirri and blue card
I trimmed the blue card so it was slightly smaller than the card blank, layered it onto gold mirri and attached it to the front. The topper and frame were attached to the centre of the card with strips of foam tape. To finish I attached the sentiment to the upper corner of the card.

This is a beautiful nautical card for Steve and perfect as you will be by the sea when it comes around. Luce Bay looks lovely and it will be good for you to have two months to enjoy the area Kath. Funnily enough we have been thinking about going to South West Scotland ourselves in early July if we can as it is somewhere we have never been before. I will follow your progress on your other blog. x
