I made this card for Mrs A's Butterfly Challenge 'P is for Paper Piercing and/or the colour Fern' and I decided to choose both options. I'm also entering Cardz 4 Galz 'Love is in the Air', A Gem of a Challenge 'Add a Butterfly', International Art & Soul 'Love is in the Air' and Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge.
Card blank: 7" x 7" white silk
Sentiment: Kanban 'Butterfly Meadow'
Dies: Spellbinders Nestabilities 'Standard Circles Large' and 'Classic Scalloped Circles Large', Tattered Lace 'Mini Butterflies'
Embossing: Kars tan embossing mat
Card: Lilac pearlescent
Paper: Making Cards 'Cocktail Time' (magazine freebie)
Other: Paper piercing tool and mat, Wink of Stella
I trimmed the paper to a square, layered it onto lilac card and attached it to the card front. I die cut and embossed the sentiment topper, layered it onto a scalloped die cut and embossed circle before attaching it to the centre of the card. I die cut two mini butterflies, pierced them down the centre and attached them to the topper. To finish I outlined the sentiment with a Wink of Stella.
