Coloured Pencils on Kraft

I made this card for Darnell's new NBUS (Never Before Used Schtuff) challenge and have made my card with her optional challenge 'Use Coloured Pencils on Kraft'.   My NBUS item is the Decorative Labels One die - I bought the dies a while ago, but this is their first outing.  I'm also entering Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge 'Anything Goes' and Crafty Calendar Challenge 'Something New' (I've used my new die).

Card blank: 5" x 5" kraft
Stamp: Hobby Art 'Floral Display'
Dies: Spellbinders Nestabilities 'Labels One' and 'Decorative Labels One:
Embossing: Kars tan embossing mat
Ink: Versafine Vintage Sepia
Colouring: Faber-Castell coloured pencils
Card: Kraft and dark brown pearlescent

I stamped the 'Floral Display' image onto kraft card and coloured it with coloured pencils.  This was then die cut and embossed.  I die cut and embossed a Decorative Labels One from dark brown pearlescent card.  I layered the floral die cut onto the decorative die cut and attached it to the centre of the card.

  6. I am really loving the look of colored pencils on kraft and seeing how everyone approached this challenge. Coloring on kraft gives a very soft, subtle look to the images that are so appealing. Your flowers are beautiful and the die cut frame is perfect!
