I made this card for a friend's birthday - someone who doesn't like 'girlie' colours.
I covered the front of the card blank with purple and teal patterned paper leaving a border around the edge. I die cut 'Happy Birthday' from white hammer card and attached it across the bottom of the card, lining up the edges with the paper. I die cut 'Happy Birthday' from dark purple pearlescent card and inlaid the letters. To finish, I die cut a butterfly from dark purple pearlescent card and attached it above the sentiment.

That's just GORGEOUS. I love it. xxx
ReplyDeleteI think I am going to have to purchase that word die as it looks to be very versatile. I like the way you have laid over the purple design paper. Thankyou for coming and playing in the butterfly garden. There was a pretty white one with spots on the wings flying around this morning. Not a cabbage white and not seen before. Hugs Mrs a.
