Marbled Heart

My snippets of marbled paper are getting smaller, but I did find a piece that was large enough to fit behind a heart aperture for this birthday card.

I trimmed a piece of white card so it was slightly smaller than the card blank before die cutting and embossing a heart in the centre.  I placed the panel into my MISTI and stamped 'birthday' directly onto the panel before attaching the marbled paper to the back of the aperture.  I rounded the corners on the panel before attaching it to the card.  I stamped 'happy' onto a snippet of white card and used the coordinating die to cut the sentiment before attaching it to the card with foam tape.

To make this card I used:
     6" x 6" white matt card blank
     Spellbinders Nestabilities 'Classic Heart' dies
     Clearly Besotted 'Modern Calligraphy' stamps and coordinating dies
     Versafine Onyx Black ink
     Kars tan embossing mat
     Snippets of white card and marbled paper

    The marbled paper is very pretty Kath and looks great behind the heart shaped aperture, and also finished with the lovely die cut and stamped sentiment. x
