With Sympathy

I needed a sympathy card to send to a neighbour so made this CAS card for him.

I placed the card blank into my MISTI so I could line up the seed and sentiment stamps.  I stamped these a couple of times with purple ink to ensure that I had a good depth of colour before embossing them with clear embossing powder.


To make this card I used:
     6" x 6" white matt card blank
     Woodware 'Going to Seed' and Clearly Besotted 'Fancy Sayings' stamps
     Versafine Imperial Purple ink
     Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder

I am entering the following challenges:
     AAA Cards - One Layer + Silhouettes
     Love to Craft - Anything Goes

    That is a lovely sympathy card . . . those seed heads really lend themselves to this. In fact, I've made a VERY similar sympathy card using the same stamp! Shame these types of card are necessary.

    This Woodware stamp is one I have had on the list to get for ages and I think it is very pretty and just stamped in this purple perfect as a sympathy card Kath..although not one we want to have to send. x

    This is a perfect card. I like the idea of inking and then embossing over you. I needed to make a card last week for the Docs cousins who lost their elderly mum(in a care home ) to 19. I had used a digi image very similar to your stamps. Hugs Mrs A.
