Penguin Trio Blocks

It's time for a new challenge at Winter Wonderland and our theme is 'Colour It' which means you have to colour you own image.  We don't have a sponsor for this challenge but Marie has kindly donated a prize for the winner.

I've used a cute Bugaboo penguin digi for my card and am entering the Alphabet Challenge 'P is for Penguins', Christmas With the Cuties' Wrap up Warm' challenge, Fab 'n' Funky 'Christmas' challenge and Cardz 4 Galz 'Let's Go Digital' challenge.  The card and snowflake paper were from my snippets drawer so I'm heading into the playground at Pixie's Crafty Workshop.

Card blank: White silk DL
Stamp: Bugaboo 'Penguin Trio Blocks' digi
Colouring: Promarkers, Sakura coloured pencils
Card: White silk
Other: Diamond Stickles, Wink of Stella
Snippets: Purple pearlescent card, blue and purple snowflake paper

I trimmed the snowflake paper, layered it onto purple card and attached it to the card blank.  I printed the digi onto white card and trimmed it leaving a border around the blocks.  I coloured the penguins with blue and purple Promarkers and coloured the sky with a pale blue coloured pencil.  The stamped panel was layered onto purple card before being attached to the centre.  To finish I highlighted the hats and snowflakes with a Wink of Stella and added Diamond Stickles to the snow.
