I'm trying to use lot of bits from my 'I'm sure I'll use it one day' drawer and found this cute image that I had saved from a birthday card. I'm entering the Gem of a Challenge 'Breast Cancer Awareness' challenge where pink has to be the predominant colour, the Crafty Calendar Challenge 'Dots and/or Stripes' (I've gone with the dots option on my paper), and Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge.
Card blank: 6" x 6" white pearlescent
Image: Upcycled birthday card
Dies: Spellbinders Nestabilities 'Standard Circles Large' and 'Classic Scalloped Circles Large'
Embossing: Kars tan embossing mat
Card: Grey pearlescent
Paper: Lili of the Valley 'Butterfly Kisses;
Other: Wink of Stella
I layered the dot paper onto grey card and attached it to the card blank. Although the image was already cut into a circle, I die cut and embossed it to make it slightly smaller. This was layered onto a grey die cut and embossed scalloped circle and attached to the centre of the card. The letters and flowers on the image were already glittered, but I added a Wink of Stella to the teddy for an extra sparkle.

This is a really sweet LOTV image Kath and the dotty paper looks great with it, and grey always goes beautifully with pink and it picks up the grey tones in the cute bear. It's good to use up some of bits we hoard too...lol, I've got loads. x
ReplyDeleteLove the little bear image and a pretty card design. Hugs, Carol S.xx
