April Rudolph Day

It's time for another Rudolph Day and another of my super quick 4" x 4" snippet cards using magazine freebies.  I'm also entering the Die-cut Divas 'Anything Goes' challenge and Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes With Dies challenge.

Card blank: 4" x 4" white matt
Die: Creative Dies 'Woodland Scene' (magazine freebie)
Other: Wink of Stella
Cards: Dark blue mirri and white matt
Paper: Emma Ball (magazine freebie)

I die cut the woodland scene from white card and layered it onto a snippet of blue paper before attaching it to a piece of dark blue mirri card.  The panel was then attached to the card blank.  I attached the stars and snowflakes and added a Wink of Stella around the tree and reindeer.

  9. This is such a lovely scene. I thought the background was inked and was surprised to learn it was DP. I shall have to look through my papers closely to see if I have any that would make good sky backgrounds as one does not always have time to ink and also I am not very good at it!!!

Thanks for taking part in the April Rudolph Days Challenge.

  18. This looks like a 'created' background and is so lovely with the crisp white overlaying it. Always love the imagery of these birch trees with the deer. It's stunning, Kath. TFS & Hugs
