Mother's Day Wishes

I made this card for my mother-in-law for Mother's Day.  I'm entering A Gem of A Challenge 'Mother's Day', the Alphabet Challenge 'Y for Your Choice' (I've chosen to make a quick  CAS Mother's Day card) and Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge 'Anything Goes'.


Card blank: 7" x 5" white matt
Image: Lili of the Valley 'Beautiful Blooms' Art Pad
Sentiment: Woodware 'Happy Mother's Day'
Punch: Woodware Corner Rounder
Ink: Versafine Olympia Green
Paper: Lilac (make unknown)
Other: Clear sequins, Wink of Stella

 I covered the front of the card blank with lilac paper.  I trimmed the pre-coloured Art Pad image so it had equal borders around the edge and rounded the corners.  Using my MISTI I stamped the sentiment under the floral basket before attaching the panel to the centre of the card.  To finish I added five small clear sequins and highlighted the flowers with a Wink of Stella.

    This is a very pretty card using a LOTV flower image Kath, and the lovely lilac paper in the background goes beautifully. x
