Winter Wonderland Special Tribute Challenge

It's time for another challenge at Winter Wonderland.  We have a special tribute challenge to Eileen who owned and ran Winter Wonderland before sadly passing away last year.  Our theme is 'Anything Goes' and we are sponsored by Imagine That who are offering the winner a $10 voucher to spend in their store.

I'm entering the ABC Christmas Challenge 'C for Clean and Simple' and the Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge 'Anything Christmas Goes'.


Card blank: 6" x 4" white silk
Stamp: Imagine That 'Poinsettia digi
Embossing: XCut 'Swirls'
Colouring: Promarkers
Card: White silk, red mirri
Paper: White silk
Other: Wink of Stella

 I resized the digi stamp and printed it onto white card and then embossed it, ensuring the poinsettia was in the centre of the oval.  I trimmed the edges and coloured the image with Promarkers before layering it onto red mirri  and attaching it to the card front.  To finish I highlighted the poinsettia and pine cones with a Wink of Stella.

    This is such a bright and beautiful poinsettia Kath and I adore that embossed background too and mounting it on the red mirri adds that extra bit of sparkle and shine. x
