Just for You

I made this card for Darnell's NBUS Challenge using a NBUS paper pad from Heartfelt Creations.  I was given the pad last year and have never used - I think it's because it's a 12" x 12" pad so is in a drawer and not with my other papers and I forget about it!  I'm also entering Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge.


Card blank: 6" x 6" white matt
Dies: Spellbinders Nestabilities 'Standard Circles Large', 'Classic Scalloped Circles Large'
Embossing: Kars tan embossing mat
Card: Dark brown matt
Paper: Heartfelt Creations 'Wildwood Cottage Collection'
Other: Brown brad

 I trimmed the brick paper, layered it onto brown card and attached it to the card front.  I die cut and embossed the fairy house from another sheet of paper and layered it onto a brown die cut and embossed scalloped circle.  This was then attached to the centre of the card.  I fussy cut the sentiment, pushed the brad though the hole and flattening the legs.  The sentiment was then attached to the card with Pinflair glue.

    This little cottage is really pretty and the brick paper is the perfect background Kath. I love the idea of the brad to anchor the tag too. x
