Lazy Afternoon

I made this card for one of my great nephews on his 14th birthday.  I'm entering the Cardz 4 Guyz 'Clean and Simple' challenge, Seize the Birthday 'Anything Goes', the Alphabet Challenge 'Z for Zero Embellishments' and Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge.


Card blank: 6" x 6" white silk
Image: Lili of the Valley 'Lazy Afternoon' Mini Masterpiece
Die: Memory Box 'Classic Numbers'
Card: Maroon matt
Paper: Joy Crafts 'Earth Bloc' and Hot off the Press ' Floral' Ultimate Pack

 I trimmed the beige paper, layered it onto maroon card and attached it to the card front before adding a strip of green paper to the left side. The precoloured image was trimmed slightly, layered onto maroon card and attached to the centre. I die cut the numbers and attached them to the top of the image.

    Love this little LOTV fella, and he certainly looks quite relaxed. Love the background colors with the image, and the beige c/s looks so very textured. Just the thing for a young guy's card. TFS & Hugs
