Carol Singing

I made this card for the Merry Monday 'Light Posts' challenge.  I'm also entering Christmas Card Challenges 'Anything Goes', Season's Greetings 'Anything Goes', Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge 'Anything Goes' and Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra.


Card blank: 6" x 6" white silk
Image: Lili of the Valley 'Carol Singing' Mini Masterpieces
Die: Cheery Lynn 'Snowflake Set 2'
Card: Gold pearlescent
Paper: Lili of the Valley ' 'Classic Christmas'
Other: Gold nailhead, Diamond Stickles, Wink of Stella

I trimmed the plaid paper, layered it onto gold card and attached it to the card front.  The image was precoloured, I trimmed it slightly, layered it onto gold card and attached it to the centre.  I die cut a snowflake and attached it to the top corner with a gold nailhead in the centre.  I added Diamond Stickles for the snow and highlighted the image with a Wink of Stella.

    I adore the tartan background with the LOTV carol singers, and the addition of just the one large snowflake is just perfect Kath. I love the gold pearlescent card backing the two layers too. x
