I'm entering this card for the Merry Monday 'Stockings' challenge, A Gem of a Challenge 'Your Favourite Colour Combo' challenge (I love traditional red and green for Christmas cards), Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge 'Anything Goes' and Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra.
Image: Lili of the Valley 'Festive Foliage' Art Pad
Punch: Woodware squared corner
Card: Gold mirri
Paper: Lili of the Valley ' 'Classic Christmas'
Other: Wink of Stella, Woodware 'Christmas Sentiments' and stars peel-offs
I trimmed the holly paper, layered it onto gold mirri and attached it to the card front. I trimmed the pre-coloured image, punched the corners, layered it onto gold mirri and attached it to the centre of the card. I added the 'Joy' and stars peel-offs and highlighted the stockings with a Wink of Stella.

Love the traditional image and colours Kath
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Christmas card, Kath. The image goes so well with the patterned paper you've use for the background. xx
ReplyDeleteThe LOTV image and background paper are a perfect match Kath and it is such a shame that they have stopped doing these papers as they are always so pretty and well designed. I love the gold mirri you have layered it with and the gold sentiment and mixture of stars enhances it so prettily. x

ReplyDeleteYour card is pretty. We still do stockings at our house and same with my girls...they are still carrying on the tradition.
But your image captures the stockings of my past...and I appreciate the fond memories it gave me!
