I made this card for the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown 'Cream, Aqua and Brown' colour challenge. I'm also entering the ABC Christmas Challenge 'B is for Something Beginning with B' (I have chosen Baubles), the Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes with Dies challenge, Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge 'Use a Sentiment' and Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra. The card and ribbon were all snippets, so I'm heading to the playground at Pixie's Crafty Workshop.
Card blank: 6" x 6" cream silk
Dies: Creative Expressions 'Contemporary Happy Christmas', Memory Box 'Lydia Ornament' & 'Traditional Ornament'
Snippets: Aqua matt, Brown Pearlescent, Cream silk, Brown ribbon
I die cut two Lydia Ornaments from aqua card and two Traditional Ornaments from brown card. I attached the aqua die cut onto the brown bauble and threaded brown ribbon through the loop, attaching it to the rear. The baubles were attached to a square of cream card and the ribbon was fastened to the rear of the card. This square was then layered onto brown card and attached to the card front. I die cut the sentiment from both aqua and brown card. The brown die cut was glued to the lower corner of the card with the aqua die cut attached to form a shadow. To finish, I made two small brown bows and attached them to the baubles.
