Snowflakes and Sentiment

Cindy is the host of this week's Winter Wonderland challenge and she has chosen 'Snowflakes' as the theme.  This week we are sponsored by Little Claire Designs are offering six digi images and Drawn with Character are offering a £10.00 voucher.

For my card I've used a lovely snowflake embossing folder which is one of the items I bought with the voucher I won on Elly's blog,  I am entering this card into Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge 'Use a Sentiment', Cuttlebug Mania 'Embossing' challenge and Classic Design Team Open Challenge 'Anything Goes'.


Card blank: 7" x 5" white silk 
Stamp: Festive Silhouettes (magazine freebie)
Ink: Versamark
Embossing: Crafts-Too 'Snowflake Frame' embossing folder, Wow ''Silver Dollar' embossing powder
Card: Silver mirri, white silk
Other: Silver bling dots

I embossed the frame onto white silk card and trimmed it long the top and bottom edges.  I stamped the sentiment into the oval frame and embossed it with Silver Dollar embossing powder.  This panel was then layered onto silver mirri before being attached to the card front.  To finish I added silver bling dots around the sentiment.
