K for Kissing

The current ABC Christmas Challenge is 'K for Kissing'.  I was struggling for ideas until my upcycling box came to the rescue again with this mistletoe image.  I'm also entering Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge 'Use a Sentiment' and Christmas Card Challenges 'Anything Goes'.


Card blank: 6" x 6" cream hammer
Image: Upcycled Christmas card
Card: Gold mirri
Paper: Lili of the Valley 'Classic Christmas;
Other: Gold nailheads

 I layered red paper onto gold mirri card and attached it to the card front.  The image was already die cut and had lovely gold foiled detail so I just had to attach it with foam tape.  To finish I added gold nail heads to the top and bottom of the card.

    It's a really lovely image and pops on the red background. I saved a few cards but most of ours were fairly uninspiring last year!
