I made this card for my OH for our forthcoming wedding anniversary and am entering it into the Winter Wonderland 'Have a Heart' (there is one on my card), the Little Claire Designs 'Love and Marriage' (our wedding anniversary), Alphabet Challenge 'Y for You Choose' (I love die-cutting, so chose to enter this card) and Becky's Place February challenges.
Card blank: 7" x 7" white silk
Die: Apple Blossom 'Flourish Heart' (magazine freebie)
Card: Red pearl, white silk printable
Paper: Docrafts Forever Friends Classic Decadence (magazine freebie)
Other: Computer generated sentiment (Harrington font)
I layered a square of grey metallic patterned paper onto red pearl card and attached it to the card front. I printed the sentiment onto white card, trimmed it to size, layered it onto red pearl card and attached it to the card front. I die cut the Flourish Heart and attached it above the sentiment.

The die cut heart is so interesting butterfly, flowers, hearts and flourishes. It looks so effective against the grey metallic paper with the splashes of red layering

Your card is beautiful Kath, and Happy Anniversary to you and your hubby! I love the gorgeous, die cut heart on the front, as well as the fabulous patterned paper border. The little hints of red are wonderful and really help to highlight the large heart. Fabulous!
