Butterfly Birthday Wishes

I made this card for the current Butterfly Challenge 'R for Ribbons' and followed the design for this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge. As the ribbon and card are from my snippets drawer,  I'm also in the playground at Pixie's Crafty Workshop.

Card blank: 6" x 4" white silk
Stamp: Butterfly (magazine freebie)
Dies: Spellbinders Nestabilites Standard Circles Large and Classic Scalloped Circles Large
Embossing: Kars tan embossing mat
Ink: Versafine Vintage Sepia
Other: Wink of Stella
Snippets: Self-adhesive ribbons and white card

I trimmed a piece of white card and attached the self-adhesive ribbons, wrapping them around the sides of the card.  This was layered onto brown card before being attached to the card front.   The butterfly image was stamped onto white card and die cut.  This was layered onto a scalloped brown die cut and attached to the card front with foam pads.  To finish I used a Wink of Stella on the butterflies and sentiment.
