Birthday Bouquet

I made this card for this week's Seize the Birthday challenge, which is a 'sketch for a feminine birthday'.  As all the papers and card are from my snippets drawer, I'm also in Pixie's Crafty Snippets Playground.

Upcycled image from birthday card
Papers and card from snippets drawer
Nestabilities Classic Ovals Large and Lacey Ovals dies
Woodware Crafty Edger Ribbon Cassette
Butterfly charm

I attached green spot paper to purple card and attached it to a card blank.  I used the Ribbon Cassette with my Crafty Edger on a piece of purple card and then layered lilac patterned paper across the centre.  I die cut the image and then attached it to an oval of purple card which had been cut with the lacey ovals die.  Following the sketch, I attached purple striped paper to the card, then the scalloped strip.  The image was attached with foam tape.  To finish, I added a small butterfly charm.

  3. Totally adorable card Kath - great for the STB challenge, and perfect for the Playground. We're almost certain we have a hedgehog sleeping behind the shed (truly!) - I wonder if he'll appear with flowers and wearing wellies when Spring finally arrives :)

I followed that sketch and almost lost the will to live - still summoning the courage to attempt a male card during the coming week.
