Girlie Christmas Tree

One of the cards I've made this week is for a friend who loves pink - it also fits well with this week's Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge which is to 'make it girlie'.

I placed a Woodware silver bubble tree peel off onto white pearlescent card and layered it onto silver mirri.  Pink paper (a magazine freebie) was layered onto silver mirri and attached to the card blank - the topper was then attached to the front of the card.  To decorate the tree I used pink and purple pearls and rhinestones, and pink and purple Stickles. To finish, I coloured the pot and tree trunk with a pink Promarker and glossy accents.

  4. Hi Kath

This is amazing .. .. I love it!!!

I have this image as a clear stamp. I will have to see if I can emboss it and get the same brilliant look that you have.

Hope you had a good weekend.

  5. This is really pretty with these non-traditional colours Kath. Very impressed that you're nearly ready for Christmas - time to lean back with a mince pie and a glass of mulled wine!

  7. Hi Kath

Thank you for your lovely comments on my bog.

The die I use for my tags is an old Sizzix Originals one. Not sure if it is still available but the number is 654680.

Have a good day and stay warm!!

  8. What a lovely girlie Christmas bling card you've created with this one. Congratulations on being awarded the Liebster Blog award and thank you for passing on to me. As soon as I get myself organised with Christmas posting I'll get around to passing it on to other deserving blogs too. Have a good weekend.
