This week's Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge is to make a card for a couple. I found this pretty image in my upcycling box, and thought it would be perfect - the image was already glittered.
I cut the image from the centre of the old Christmas card and decorated the corners with my Woodware squared corner punch. I then mounted the image onto a scrap of pale blue pearlescent card. I used my Woodware Crafty Edger with the Star Party cassette to cut a piece of brown paper from the Prima Botanical collection - not a Christmas paper but a freebie that matched the brown in my image. I wrapped a piece of blue glitter ribbon around the paper and tied a knot around the ribbon. The paper was then attached to the bottom of a square cream card blank. I then attached the image to the top half of the card. To finish, I attached some of the stars to the top corners of the card.

what a lovely and very clever recycling project. Also lucky you having a hubby that buys you new release stamps. Colouring improves with practice, so hope to see many more of your wonderful creations, especially those using WRS products
